We have an excellent Lead IT Systems Applications Support Analyst FTC job opportunity until July 2026. 

The role requires candidates who can demonstrate similar roles and responsibilities to the majority of the below:-

  • Must be either professionally qualified/relevant degree and have significant experience in Systems Application Management and Support or have substantial on the job experience in this area.
  • Have an understanding of infrastructure of systems e.g. Load Balance.
  • Ensuring solutions are transitioned into live production environments with minimum disruption and maximum impact.
  • Ensure applications and services remain robust and reliable and through effective collaboration with internal teams and suppliers with issues are resolved quickly with minimum disruption.
  • Ensuring application strategy is continually reviewed to ensure applications are up to date, relevant and closely aligned with supplier roadmaps so that we get maximum value for money and organisational benefits.
  • Knowledge of work practices, processes and procedures relevant to the role, including broader sector/commercial awareness.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of systems/services in own area and their varied applications.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with user/customer areas to understand their requirements and then deliver them.
  • Supervisory and coaching skills to manage, motivate and develop staff.
  • Able to provide advice to others and often required to persuade them to follow a particular course of action.
  • Able to anticipate, interpret and assess customer needs, identifying trends, generating original ideas and testing innovative solutions.
  • Able to resolve issues, which may not have arisen before, relying on own experience and judgement.
  • Must have strong people and project management skills where needed.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills to identify and implement significant improvements to service area.
  • Experience of developing policy.
